And here we are, already, with our second TWS meal plan + grocery list - two ways!
This week we are focusing on “hard-working recipes” - a phrase coined by my social media manager, Liz :) She loves a good recipe that you can get more than one use out of and it inspired this meal plan (thanks, Liz)!

5 Day Hard-Working Weeknight Dinner Meal Plan

How it Works: This is a more meal-prep heavy plan, but the payoff is HUGE and these are recipes that your whole family is going to love - kind of a “cook once - eat all week” kind of mentality.

On Sunday, you are going to make two “supporting recipes” - one is roasted chicken and one is slow cooker pulled pork - you make those two supporting recipes and then we use the chicken and pork to make 4 dinners (2 chicken and 2 pork), BUT they are very different recipes so I promise you will not get sick of pork (or chicken)! You also don’t have two recipes in a row made from the same protein.

Note: you can easily buy 2 rotisserie chickens, instead of roasting them, to make things even easier.

Once you make those supporting recipes, we provide a meal prep guide to walk you through what you will be prepping on Sunday (how far to prep the recipe, etc) and then you are set up for the week.

It really is up to you how much meal prep you want to do here, but you have the potential to have 3 dinners prepped before the week starts and have 2 more dinners that require very little prep work during the week.

This might result in your easiest week of dinner yet. Spend a little time on Sunday and set yourself up for success all week long!

Substitutions

For each recipe, we have substitutions for making them gluten-free/dairy-free.

Grocery List - 2 Ways!

Remember we always include a grocery list 2 different ways:

1) we have the full list, if you want to make all 5 recipes OR

2) we have the grocery list broken down by recipe so you can pick and choose what recipes work best for you.

We also included a super easy recipe - Loaded Baked Potatoes - because I always love having at least 1 crazy easy recipe during the week for those days when not everyone can be home at the same time and you need a flexible, simple recipe that people can eat at different times.
